Father’s Day Crafts
|
Sunday is Father’s Day and having your child make their gift will make it even more special for dad. The simplest thing is to have them make a card. It can be from a printable that they colored, an actual photo that you print, anything. You would be very surprised at how creative children can be when given the simplest items such as paper and crayons.
If your husband wears ties then buy a plain, light colored one, and let your children paint it. They could even put their handprints onto the tie. All you would need in addition to the tie is some fabric paint. If you have a small baby then put his or her footprints on the tie as well. It would be a memorable keepsake even if dad never wears it.
Coffee mugs that have been painted or colored are also favorite craft ideas for Father’s Days gifts among children. Allowing your children to help prepare a special meal for dad is an easy and affordable alternative. Talk with your children, ask them what ideas they have and then go from there. Dad will love whatever they do for him and your children will cherish the memories of making the gifts with you.
